Feature Upgrades
Working with our customer's input and feedback,
RapidHire is constantly introducing software upgrades and
enhancements. These upgrades are automatically provided to our
hosted customers at no additional charge. RapidHire's most recent
upgrades include:
DAC REPORT BUNDLING, MVR'S FOR
MULTIPLE CDL'S, AND DAC'S 20/20 REPORT
Our exclusive USIS/DAC interface initially provided
immediate access to MVR and Job History Reports. We have now expanded
that to allow ordering of DAC's 20/20 report (criminal history),
MVR's for multiple CDL's, plus DAC's report bundling service - for
the reports you require on a standard basis. Back to Top
REAL TIME MANAGEMENT SCREEN -
CURRENT RECRUITING SITUATION OVERVIEW
Managers and executives can get an instant,
real-time snapshot with RapidHire's Current Situation Overview
screen. This provides total numbers of driver
applicants at the various stages of the process, including how many have
been entered, scheduled for orientation, declined your company, or were
rejected by your recruiters for any reason - today, yesterday, and in
the past 7 days. The Situation Overview Screen also shows the
number of drivers in the orientation phase, including no shows and
driver hires. Finally, you can instantly see the recruiting cycle
time - the average elapsed time between application and confirmed

RapidHire has also concentrated on improving data entry
ease, accuracy and speed, by adding several features:
HIGH SPEED PULL-DOWN MENU
SELECTIONS REDUCE DATA ENTRY TIME AND ERRORS
Recruiters can rapidly enter data by selecting from
Pull-Down windows. This saves time and ensures that consistent data is entered for reporting
and classification. No programming is required to create specific Pull-Down
windows for your company and they may be created right while RapidHire
is in use.
Also in our latest
release, a Recruiter can select any Pull-Down value by entering only
enough leading characters to uniquely identify it and then pressing F1.
The whole value will be placed into the field automatically. For
example, if you have a Driver Qualification Pull-Down Menu value of "6
Years of Greater", you may enter just a "6" in the Driver Qualification
field and press F1 and the whole value is placed into the field
automatically. When the value you enter is not unique, the
pull-down list will be positioned to the first matching row in the list,
thus still saving you time. This is another one of our
features which speeds up data entry while the Driver is on the phone. Back to Top
HIGH SPEED STATUS ENTRY & EXPANDED
NOTES SCREEN
This feature again significantly speeds up the
phone app process. Many times, a status of an application is
determined by their General Qualification. To take advantage of
this and speed up phone applications, you may have status automatically
entered when a particular Driver Qualification is selected. For
example, if you enter "QNI" (Qualified Not Interested), "Opportunity"
will be automatically entered in the status field. Your company can define any status codes you prefer. And
again, the necessary data entry would be have accomplished just by
keying in three letter abbreviations.
In addition, F6 now brings up the expanded Notes
Screen. We've greatly increased the notes capacity, plus Date and
Time are stamped automatically. Back to Top
SECURE INTERNET AP SSN AND DOB
RapidHire now securely pulls in SSN and DOB. RapidHir's
Internet Application is encrypted and secured, using a Verisign Digital

FIELDS
ADDED AND SEQUENCE REORGANIZED ON THE BASIC INFORMATION SCREEN
The sequence of fields on the RapidHire BASIC INFORMATION screen has been
reorganized to better match the flow of the initial phone conversation
with the Driver. For example, the Recruiter now moves from
"Position Desired" right into "Qualification", recognizing that if there
is a problem with the Driver's General Qualification, that there is no
need to enter any additional data in many cases. The sequence of
fields closely matches most Recruiting Department's procedures, and the
sequence will in most cases help phone calls go even quicker with
this upgrade from RapidHire.
In another time-saving upgrade, we have added the DAC
Inquiry Permission field and date stamp to the RapidHire BASIC
INFORMATION screen. Now the Recruiter can order DAC reports just as soon
as they get a good feeling about the Driver, before going to the
QUALIFICATIONS Screen. Orientation date and location are also available
now on the RapidHire BASIC INFORMATION
screen, so the Recruiter can easily view this frequently-sought

CHECK-OFF STEPS, PROCEDURES AND FORMS FOR ORIENTATION SCREEN
Several features have been added to the ORIENTATION screen, including

In addition, RapidHire has focused on how your company's
Recruiting Department uses the data collected from the Driver
Applications. We've developed several features, which simplify
many time-consuming functions:
POWERFUL & EASY-TO-USE REPORTS SYSTEM
RapidHire's powerful Reports System represents a breakthrough in
ease-of-use in defining reports. We have not only copyrighted this
feature but are also filing patent applications. Among other great
features, recruiters may sort, select, count and print reports based on
any fields that show on any of the RapidHire work screens.
The
database name of all fields is displayable via the same screens that the
recruiters use. Selection of Drivers is significantly simpler and
at the same time, complex selections can be made without resorting to
programmer-oriented coding of SQL statements or parenthetical
expressions. Existing report layouts can easily be copied and
modified to make new ones. Back to Top
POWERFUL & EASY-TO-USE FORM LETTERS, MAIL MERGE AND EXPORT TO EXCEL
RapidHire's Mail Merge / Form Letter capabilities use exactly the
same specifications as the Reports System, except that results generate
a data source for Microsoft WORD form letters. Your imagination is
the only limit to the use of this feature.
RapidHire also gives you the option to create files to be
directly brought into Microsoft EXCEL, either as a new Excel document or for
importing directly into previously defined spreadsheet. Back to Top
FOLLOW-UP MANAGEMENT This initial version of
RapidHire's Follow-up System integrates with our Form Letters / Mail
Merge process. It allows you to specify a follow-up action date,
action type and form letter name, and action taken with date. This
information allows selections to be made for form letters, but in
addition, any other type of action such as a call back can be specified.
Actions which are overdue are shown in a special browse list.
Actions to be performed today are shown in another browse list.
