RAPIDHIRE ANNOUNCES SOFTWARE ENHANCEMENTS AND
IMPROVEMENTS
PRINT MEDIA RELEASE
FOR IMMEDIATE
RELEASE
Greenwood Village, Colorado
February 15, 2005
The trucking industry’s
most comprehensive driver recruiting software now carries an even
heavier load for recruiting departments. RapidHire Driver
Recruiting Management Software announces a series of software
upgrades and new features, which emphasize the sales approach to
driver recruiting and further accelerate the hiring process in
today’s competitive labor market.
“At RapidHire,
we have an ongoing commitment to respond to our customers’ needs and
we constantly work to improve our product,” says Lloyd Tempero,
President of RapidHire, LLC, “These enhancements and
added features further solidify our position as the foremost
fully-integrated software created specifically for trucking
companies. We are scheduling the upgrades for all of our current
customers and are offering special introductory pricing to new
customers, too.”
RapidHire Driver
Recruiting Management Software already has many unique
functions, including its exclusive USIS/DAC interface, which allows
recruiters to immediately access driver employment history and
driving records, and its Decision Tables, which automatically
classify driver applicants. RapidHire’s exclusive
Internet Driver Application is encrypted and provides the level of
privacy mandated by government regulations in obtaining data such as
SSN and DOB, unlike other internet applications.
Now, RapidHire
has added a breakthrough, patent-pending Reports System, which is
powerful and easy to use. Recruiters can select, sort, count, and
print driver reports by a wide range of criteria, without having to
use programmer-oriented coding.
Couple RapidHire’s
new Reports System with its new Mail Merge and Form Letter capacity
and recruiters have a potent tool to continually foster relationships
with driver prospects and increase driver retention, too. The new
RapidHire Follow-Up System tracks and reminds about all
scheduled actions.
RapidHire
has also enhanced several features to improve the recruiter’s ease in
entering data while conducting the initial conversation with a
driver, including both high-speed Pull-Down Menu Selections and
high-speed Status Entry, which facilitate input with a minimum of
keystrokes, plus a new Notes Screen. Other upgrades include color
coding of driver categories, additional information fields and
reorganized layout on both the basic RapidHire and
orientation screens.
RapidHire Driver
Recruiting Management Software is a fully-integrated,
cost-effective program, which requires driver information only be
entered once into one detailed database. It replaces disorganized
paperwork, or non-integrated systems requiring error-prone, duplicate
data entry, plus RapidHire eliminates delays in
verifying motor vehicle and employment records.
The result? Companies hire better
drivers faster. Recruiter efficiency improves and business costs
drop. Reviewing the DAC
Report and the information gathered, the recruiter can decide
instantly whether to schedule promising prospects for orientation and
hiring, or quickly end the interview and move to the next call. The
new driver’s information is accessible to all applicable departments
and can also be assimilated into other popular dispatch and payroll
programs.
“It seems like just yesterday KLLM was drowning in driver
recruiting paperwork and spending hours faxing and manually
processing DAC requests. RapidHire has revolutionized our hiring
process and lowered our cost structure, too. It used to take several
phone calls, tremendous data entry and multiple hours of work to
obtain enough information to verify employment and hire a driver. It
literally took days or weeks to hire a driver. With RapidHire, all
hiring steps are more efficient. DAC employment verification occurs
at the touch of a button.
Applications are processed in minutes and, in many
cases, job offers are made to qualified individuals in as little as a
day. In my opinion, RapidHire is the most efficient driver
recruiting package in the industry,” says Vince Schott, Vice
President of Information Systems, KLLM Transport Services.
Introduced in 1998, RapidHire’s technology was
developed by Lloyd Tempero, of
Longmont, Colo., who
joined the trucking industry in 1991 as information technology
director for a major trucking company. Ultimately, he began
developing software for companies nationwide, fielding repeated
requests from carrier administrators seeking software to make their
driver hiring more efficient and productive. The system Tempero
developed meets that challenge with many unique, easy-to-use
features, backed by the RapidHire’s personalized
service and support.
“I would like to thank Ken Wade at Epes Transport and Denzil
Hood at Tyson Foods for working closely with us to develop new
functionality, make numerous product improvements, and for giving us
tremendous input and feedback on the RapidHire software
upgrades." says Tempero.
